Recently, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said that email will eventually become an obsolete form of communication. Her reasoning was that teenagers are using email less and less (only 11% do) and using things like SMS and social networking much more. She also mentioned that teenagers are a good indication of what kind of trends will appear in the near future. I do agree with that, but I can’t say that I believe email will disappear. Read more
